SUNDirect setupbox can be used for free to air (FTA) channels.
we can view the DD Direct Plus channels in sundirect setupbox for free of cost.
1. the dish direction is same as the both sundirect and dd direct plus are in same satellite INSAT4B at 93.5 East. so there is no change in dish direction.
2. sundirect is using the IRDETO technology. this is only to encrypt the pay channels. so the smart card will not block the FTA channels.
3. the setupbox is MPEG4 and MPEG2 compartablility so both will work on same setup box.

Don't provide wrong info.
if you remove the sundirect card it will not work... (or) Subscription expires it will not work
If you are confident...tell me how to watch the FTA channels.. without the SUN subscription with same STB and Dish
